Hello! My name is Maura and I have 10 years of experience working with kids of all ages. My experience ranges from teaching, tutoring, nannying, babysitting, working as a group leader for an aftercare program, and working as a camp counselor. Currently, I am a grade 1 teacher at a small private school and this is my 4th year teaching. I love working with kids because I love seeing their spark for learning and curiosity for exploring the world around us. I believe each student is capable of amazing goals in life. As a teacher, I have worked with students with all different academic backgrounds. I am a firm believer that every child is capable of learning. Every student learns differently and at a different speed. I am taking COVID-19 seriously. I limit where I go and who I come into contact with. I am used to wearing a mask and face shield all day.
