About Mckenzie

I have 10+ years of childcare experience - from nannying multiples, to working in the behavioral health field teaching communication, emotional coping, and social skills. I have a BS in Psychology and a Master of Health Science. I have a 3-year-old son who I have stayed home with since birth. I am looking for a position where I can bring him with me so that he and the other child(ren) can play together and practice communication and social skills. My son is a happy, friendly, playful little boy. My childcare style is fun, engaging, nurturing, and supportive. I love to play games and do creative projects to help foster imaginations. My philosophy is to cultivate a relationship where children feel safe to be their most authentic selves. I am dependable and professional. I have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. I was CPR certified when my son was an infant and am happy to renew it ASAP. I do not smoke and am very considerate of hygiene and health safety.
