About Melissa

I am a mother of two adult children and am finding that I REALLY miss spending time with young children! At this time, I am comfortable caring for one child only - ages 0-3 years, as I want to give your young child my full attention. I will be working on attaining my DONA postpartum certification in a few months and really want to have some hands on experience working with parents and baby. My personality would be described as gentle, warm, calm, loving and spiritual. I would enjoy rocking your baby to sleep, dancing and singing with him or her, taking them out for a walk, reading, playing with educational toys, etc. I am not looking for a permanent placement, just occasional, as-needed and on-call care. I am available for weekday care (Mon-Fri) and other times scheduled in advance. Very early morning, last minute, postpartum assistance (overnight care with newborns), occasional and mother's helper. Just completed my recertification in infant and child first aid and CPR.
