About Meryhelen

Hi! I'm Meryhelen, a bilingual (Spanish/English) caregiver from Colombia, living in Chicago. I started working with children at 18 as a nanny for a little girl from 6 months to 6 years old, which gave me a deep understanding of early childhood development. I also worked as a Teacher Assistant at a daycare in Chicago with toddlers. I'm creative, warm, and caring. My performing arts background helps me connect with kids through imagination, play, and storytelling -- nurturing their natural creativity. I have my own car, driver's license, and CPR certification. I'm bilingual, currently strengthening my English, and always keep families informed and comfortable. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, theater, watching movies, writing and painting. I'm looking for a position where respect is a core value and where I can truly make a difference.
