About Mya

Hi! My name is Mya and I'm a 27-year-old aspiring speech therapy student. I'm a fun, attentive, and caring person who enjoys reading, drawing and the beach. My past experience working with children as a Teacher's Assistant (TA) for kindergarteners has enabled me to better understand and care for children. As a TA, l've learned how to communicate with children in a way that's engaging. Many children find my fun and easy-going nature easy to warm up to. This is important to me because I want children to feel safe and happy when they're unable to be with their parents. As the eldest sibling to 4 brothers, I'm family-oriented. I value growth-mindsets, self-love, and respect for ourselves as well as others. I find joy in small things, laugh often and live in the present moment. My goal is for your child to feel comfortable, supported, and excited when we spend time together. With me as your nanny, I would be honored to provide your family with dependable, loving care.
