Hi! While I'm new to formal senior caregiving, I have experience working in a nursing home as an activities assistant, where I spent my days engaging with residents and planning activities. That experience had a lasting impact on me; I've even written about some of the individuals I connected with and the wisdom they shared. I have a deep appreciation for older generations and love listening to their stories, learning from their life experiences, and making sure they feel seen, heard, and cared for. I'm currently looking for a full-time position where I can provide companionship and help with daily routines as needed. I value kindness, respect, and open-mindedness, and I'm hoping to work with someone who shares those values so we can build a comfortable and supportive environment together.
