My most recent experience working with children was in an after school program! I was the Site Coordinator at my assigned elementary school meaning I supervised my team of Program Leaders, coaching them on how to properly look after the children in our care after school. I would interact with our students every day as well, ages ranging from 4-12! I would help with conflict resolution, homework, fun activities, and would get to know the kids overall. I had to leave my job as I am currently getting my Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University, and plan on working with children specifically as a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have cared for 2 families so far from Care. com, one in which I would drive their kids to and from school and one in which I would care for their children whenever they needed me. I am on Care. com because I want to be able to work with kids while also have a flexible schedule. I look forward to meeting you!
