About Rivi

Hi! My name is Rivi, and I am an experienced caregiver with almost a decade of preschool teaching experience. I don't have a car and I do not drive. My primary experience is with children from 0-4, but I am comfortable with all ages. I have a BA in Psychology and graduate work in child development, and am teacher qualified for ages 0-5. I specialize in the Reggio-Emilia approach to ECE: prioritizing learning through play, seeing the child as a capable and active constructor in their learning, and encouraging creativity through play and self expression. I don't have a car, but can get to and from jobs on my own. I do not smoke and I am comfortable with all pets. In my free time, I love reading, creative writing, and crafts (knitting and sewing in particular). I have taught many of my former students how to knit, and I love including the kiddos when I am doing meal prep, cooking, and chores. I hope you'll find me as a good fit for your family!
