About Samiya

Hi! My name is Samiya! I'm a Psychology student who absolutely loves working with kids and has always had a passion for childcare. I have several years of experience caring for children, starting with babysitting family members. I also completed a kindergarten teacher assistant internship and worked as a 1st grade after-school teacher. Over the past two years, I've babysat for many families through both one-time and recurring jobs. I've cared for up to three children at a time, ranging from 2 months to 11 years old. I'm comfortable with playtime, crafts, homework, meals and snacks, bedtime routines, and keeping kids safe and entertained. I'm patient, responsible, and caring, and I love getting to know each child's personality and interests. I also have reliable transportation.
