Hello! Since 2014, I have worked as a teacher and tutor both as a freelancer and with educational organizations. Although I have a strong background in Math and Science, I specialize in Language Arts, Literature, and History. I have worked with students from elementary to high school for test prep, specifically for the SHSAT, SSAT, PSAT and SAT as well as many of the NYS Regents exams. I work very well one-on-on, with an ability to help guide and foster a student's learning without imposing rigid methodologies. I believe that enthusiasm, patience, and respect are essential in working with any students. I am fully equipped to work with students over Virtual Classroom, and I have plenty of digital resources to seamlessly collaborate with students online.

We tried about a dozen teachers with our son, and Samuel was not only our top pick but he managed to established a real connection with our son - which is usually challenging. He is patient, smart and adapts his teaching method to the kid. We moved out of the city and unfortunately could not continue, but would not hesitate a single moment to hire him again.
