About Sara

I am a former kindergarten and first grade educator, adjunct professor of early childhood education, and I am currently a private tutor and behavior analyst. I have 19 years experience working with young children. Sessions are 1-2 times a week for an hour each session, in your child's home, or remote if appropriate. All work with my clients is individualized and designed to support their particular skills and areas of need. I believe strongly that young children deserve play-based activities that are rooted in academic standards to both develop skills but also dispositions like critical thinking. Lots of the activities I design are hands-on, active learning to enhance the joy in what we are doing in order to deepen their learning.
