About Shailah

My name is Shailah. I am an avid baker, enjoy doing DIY projects, arts and crafts, and a reading enthusiast. I enjoy animals as much as children. I am gentle, kind hearted, and patient. I am sure I can be of service and provide a comforting and interactive experience for your children! I have prior experience caring for children from four different families. Children have ranged in age from 1-10years old. I also have much unpaid babysitting experiences from relatives and family friends. Lastly, I have experience working in a pediatric hospital caring for infants to teenagers in the intensive care unit and medical floors, as a nursing assistant. I am CPR certified and have my own transportation. My current level of education extends to a B. S degree in Biology from UW. I will be continuing my education journey in 2023, where I will be attending a graduate program to become a physician assistant with plans to work in pediatric care in the future.
