I hold an Advanced Professional Teaching Certificate with the state of Maryland and have been a classroom teacher for the past 27 years. I have taught Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies my entire career and I love working with young people and helping them reach their full potential. Each year I see 75 - 85% of my students improve their reading comprehension by 50 points or more and one performance band. Over the years, I have discovered proven strategies that help students become independent thinkers and learners. This is the first time in many years that I have not taught summer school and would like to try assisting and supporting learners and families in the private sector. Tutor
