Hello, my name is Stephen, and I am very excited to introduce myself! I worked as a nanny in Minneapolis for three years taking care of twin boys. During the pandemic, I spent 10 months working in a Head Start program serving migrant families. Before that, I was in France working as an Au pair. Yes, I speak French! I have also worked in a Montessori preschool, and I am certified as a Montessori teacher. I have held many other childcare positions such as YMCA School Age Staff, Camp Counselor, babysitting/nannying, and many more, as well as many different volunteer experiences. I enjoy rollerblading, board games, and Chess. (And I know a lot about Pokemon!) I also play guitar and write songs. I have a connection-first approach with children and believe in collaborating with them to help them build skills and confidence. We hired Stephen to watch 4 kids ages 10, 8, 5, and 2 for 2 fulls days while we were in Minneapolis. He was awesome. He was great with the kids and seemed to manage all 4 with ease. He was extremely responsive both before and during babysitting. He took our kids on a hike and by train to mall and they all came home happy. He has extensive experience working with kids and it shows. Thank you Stephen!
