My Job of choice has always been helping the elderly. I started when I was still in high school as a CNA at a nursing facility. After starting a family, I changed jobs and worked as a HHA for Grand view Health. I did this for several years full time, until we decided to expand our family. I then started a private care job in a private home for a brain injured boy. I was employed by them for 18 years, when he passed away. During the last four years I also worked per diem hours again for GVH as a HHA. I have always enjoyed home care, and always prided myself on treating patients the way I would treat my own family.
