Hi all! My name is Sydney (she/her) and I have been working in childcare since I was 14. I worked full time as a nanny after I graduated college and am excited to get the chance to work with kiddos again! I build strong, lifelong connections with the kids and families that I work with. I love getting to go on adventures with your kiddos, baking, and finding ways to explore what they are interested in. I love working with kids because I love getting to see the world through their eyes. Everyday kids are learning and absorbing things for the first time and it is such a privilege to see and help shape those experiences. One thing you should know about me is I care deeply about listening to your child and making sure that they feel understood and supported. I am very empathetic and a great listener and want to be able to support your child however they need. Excited to learn more about your family and their needs!

If I could add five more stars to Sydney's overall rating, I would! Sydney is incredibly thoughtful, observant, patient, and professional. She started working with us when our daughter was only 16 months old and shared the days with us until our daughter was about 3.5 years old. During that time she fully invested in her relationship with our little one, filling their time with activities that sparked joy, curiosity and creativity. Her communication skills and understanding of child development are strong, so she supported us through significant stages, such as potty learning and a speech delay. The bond she formed with our daughter is unlike any other. When life took us to opposite coasts, Sydney has remained very present in her life, sending holiday cards, birthday wishes, and carving out time for FaceTime chats. (My daughter is 5 years old now.) Any family who has the opportunity to work with Sydney is very blessed.
