About Tessa

I have been a nanny/household manager for over 20 years. In addition to my work in the private sector, I have worked with children in an instructional capacity, developing/teaching creative curriculum to preschoolers, and leading an afterschool art enrichment program. As a nanny, I strive to expand upon children's natural curiosity and creativity through immersive sensory exploration and the integration of learning into everyday life and inspire confidence and independence by teaching the value of persistence and repetition, to master new skills. I aim to encourage character development by emphasizing the use of kindness, love and respect toward themselves and the world they interact with. I am looking to find a family I can make a lasting connection with and contribute to the smooth functioning of their entire household.
