About Thalia

I am a recent UCD graduate who is currently looking to spend some time with children (and making some income) while studying for my GREs. I love the company of children because they help remind me of the simple things in life and they always make me smile with the things they say and do. I have cared for my autistic niece when she was 1-3 years old, taking care of typical tasks such as feeding, changing diapers, going on walks, and reading. I love working with children because I feel like they still have so much to learn, so much to explore. Being given the opportunity to impact their lives at these early stages is most definitely a privilege. I have also worked with older nieces and nephews (ages 5-8). And even at older stages in their lives, children still amaze me. I love showing them new things and answering their questions. I love encouraging time being spent outdoors and stimulating creative minds. I love it even more when they find a new appreciation for things as well. Children are our future generation, so they deserve nothing but the best :).
