About Vanessa

I am a 2022 graduate of Lesley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in animation and a minor in illustration. I was a summer camp counselor at my church for children ages 5 to 12, beginning freshman year in high school up until 2020. I worked with the camp organizer to assist with decorating for the camp and coordinating the leading of activities including arts and crafts. I believe my diverse background coupled with my love of teaching children would make me well-suited as a creative arts and writing tutor. I am reliable and very patient especially with students. I can relate with children on a unique level when working on art and writing projects because I have been an 'artist' since I was a young child. For as long as I can remember I have been inspired to create art using what ever materials were at my disposal and strive to instill this creative curiosity in my students.
