About Xuan

I like tutoring because I find tutoring incredibly fulfilling because it allows me to help others reach their potential. Especially for language, which serves as a bridge between learners and their potential, I am very happy to build that bridge. When I was an undergraduate, I started teaching. At that time, I tutored elementary school students and provided online tutoring for writing and reading to English learners at a tech company. While pursuing my master's degree, I taught ENL and ELA at two public elementary schools in New York and taught Chinese at a private high school. In June 2024, I obtained my certification for teaching English and Chinese in New York City. I enjoy reading non-fiction, focusing on sociology. Additionally, I am very fond of music and enjoy listening to Pink Floyd, Taylor Swift, and Lana del Rey. I have a2-year-old tabby cat at home, and she is my best friend. My skills include: 1.
