Yolando canceled on me in real time-- at 5pm on a Friday-- even though she had confirmed the job weeks before and earlier that day. She did not knock on the door when she arrived. Instead, when she called me and I did not answer (because I was in the shower), she left and then claimed that she had a family emergency that prevented her from returning. She refused to talk to me on the phone. My sense was that she never came to the house and got another higher paying job as she demanded $40 an hour day of the job. Even agreeing to the $40 an hour did not prevent her from canceling. We were unable to attend our prepaid plans.
