Hello! I am an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) and I work in the school setting treating children with a variety of a disabilities (Autism, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, Speech-Language Delay, and more) to improve functional communication. I have been an SLP for 7 years and love it! I am currently looking for a summer babysitting/nanny job since my contract with the school system does not extend during summer vacation. Due to my line of work, I have a lot of experience with children with disabilities. I have 2 children of my own-a 6-month-old and almost 3-year-old. They will not come with me to babysitting/nanny jobs-they will get some Nana time! I have been babysitting since I was around 14, and I was a nanny all through college and graduate school. I have an associate's, bachelor's and master's degree. I am well-versed in and prioritize fun, engaging, creative play in an inclusive setting and am skilled in differentiating activities to meet children at their level.
