​This drawing class is designed for students of all levels of drawing experience, and would like to learn some advanced techniques and explore new mediums. Students will have the opportunity to explore with charcoal. colored chalk pastels, oil pastels, different graphites and more. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects at the end of the session. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will present their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

We are thrilled to announce that Beyond the Bell is a proud recipient of the Calvert County Reinvestment and Repair Fund Grant. Thanks to this support, we are launching a new, 12-week intensive afterschool program hosted at the College of Southern Maryland (Prince Frederick Campus). We are looking for students in Grades 3–8, who would thrive in a high-engagement environment focused on Social Emotional Arts and Athletics Lessons (S.E.A.A.L). This is a perfect fit for students who need: Intensive Mentorship: Small group settings designed to build deep, supportive connections with dedicated mentors. Creative & Physical Expression: A unique curriculum that blends visual arts, digital storytelling, and athletics to keep students engaged. Confidence & Resilience: Using both the arts and sports as a bridge to help students find their voice and build community. We are excited to spend the week being creative, building community and making friendships. Drop Off is from 9am-9:30 and pick up is between 3:30-4:00pm. During our days together at Hilltop Creative Summer Camp we will start our mornings off with free exploration, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. Nature is a huge focus of Hilltop Creative. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative.

Join us for a day with Prince Milo in the Rainbow Jungle where tigers come in all stripes and colors. Campers will get to transform into magical tiger characters and together we will go on a pretend play adventure through the wild jungle. This magical day of feline fun includes mask making, theater games, park time and a puppet show! Please remember to pack a water bottle, nut-free lunch and a yummy snack. Masks are optional. Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. Welcome to Racquets & Swim New this summer we are expanding racquet sports to include pickle ball, badminton, and table tennis. Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont, and support from the USTA NorCal, will again offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program. This program combines the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports in a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem, and social skills. A playful introduction to comedy and physical acting with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Slinky Dog! Kids explore funny walks, exaggerated gestures, silly voices, and short comedic sketches. We'll zoom into exciting games like cracking number codes with silly pictures and finding hidden numbers in cool patterns. We'll learn to measure with our steps and hands, finding out how big or small things are. Get ready for fun puzzle challenges that make our brains strong!
