Our Tiny Tots class covers improv, storytelling and live music! 🥁✨ It is drop-in style and a great stepping-stool for toddlers to socialize and work on public specking, focus and listening while having fun! Ages 2-4

We’ll teach basic fundamentals of a wide variety of sports and then assist and supervise as our campers compete in an organized and safe setting!! The house will be rocking with music playing throughout the day and a level of energy that will only be outdone by the amount of FUN being had!! Best of all, the unpredictable weather will never be a factor because we have an awesome indoor space, covered in state-of-the-art field turf!!

We'll sing, creatively move, play instruments, improvise, use props, dance, enjoy musical story time and most importantly...have fun!! Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Older siblings (6+ years) are welcome to join free of charge. For questions call the studio at (331) 261-5799. Refunds are not offered for these classes, however, we will do our best to provide make up classes when possible. All make ups must be used within the current session. Any exceptions are at the discretion of Sing with Emily staff. **Weekly classes need at least 3 students to run. In the event that not enough students are registered in advance, a class may be cancelled 24 hours before the date of the class. In the event that a class is cancelled, attendees will be notified and the class will be removed from the website for registration.

Dive into a magical week of sea life! From seashells and sandcastles to mermaids and starfish, campers will explore all the wonders of the ocean through hands-on creativity and imagination. This week, your child will bring home starfish sculptures, canvas paintings, and beautiful ocean-inspired illustrations—plus a few surprise seashell treasures we can’t wait to share! Join us for a wave of fun and creativity!

During this week campers get to enjoy a different ceramic and slime daily. ​ We know going home we so many slimes and ceramics can be overwhelming - so we have you covered. We will also be mixing in some watercolor and acrylic projects throughout the week. From fluffy slime to glow in the dark and snow slime - we will keep the campers day filled with exciting activities!

We are excited to share the week being creative, building community and friendships. Drop off is from 9am-9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30-3:00pm. During our days at Hilltop Creative Camp we will start our mornings off with free play, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. Nature is a huge focus of Hilltop Creative. We will have outdoor time on a neighborhood hike up to the Hilltop and visit our local playgrounds Bernal Heights, Holly Park or St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will be indoors and we will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative for the campers.

Let your imagination run wild at the Rainbow Jungle! This day is all about exploring an imaginary world of exotic creatures and hidden treasures. Your kid will explore this colorful place while working together with old and new friends to uncover the magic of the jungle. Come join us for a day of imaginative play and endless fun! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:30 - 4:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. On our final day, join us at 3pm for a special show! If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Please email us ahead of time and let us know if you need to miss and would like an at-home camp bag! Photography Notice: We love to share the joy of our experiences on SmugMug and social media! Parent Night Out will take place on selected evenings of every month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm (or as noted) and will incorporate many types of fine arts over the course of the school year....visual arts. All while parents enjoy a night out! Cost per event is $40 per child, $37 for additional children FROM THE SAME FAMILY. Kids will enjoy 2 hours of Art and Art related Activities!Parent Night Out is designed for parents to drop off kids while they go out for a dinner, meet up with friends, run errands or enjoy some alone time :) Parent Night Out... aka PNO... is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. A teacher led art project, a fun themed craft, time for a snack (please bring your own snack & water) are included in our 2.5 hours together. Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 2 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups will be separated by age & grade level, so students can make new friends and work on age appropriate art projects. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for both June and July sessions. Our Last Class we will have student presentations the last 15 minutes of class. Please bring a bag and some towels, paper to wrap all of your treasures and take home.

In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

We are thrilled to announce that Beyond the Bell is a proud recipient of the Calvert County Reinvestment and Repair Fund Grant. Thanks to this support, we are launching a new, 12-week intensive afterschool program hosted at the College of Southern Maryland (Prince Frederick Campus). We are looking for students in Grades 3–8, who would thrive in a high-engagement environment focused on Social Emotional Arts and Athletics Lessons (S.E.A.A.L). This is a perfect fit for students who need: Intensive Mentorship: Small group settings designed to build deep, supportive connections with dedicated mentors. Creative & Physical Expression: A unique curriculum that blends visual arts, digital storytelling, and athletics to keep students engaged. Confidence & Resilience: Using both the arts and sports as a bridge to help students find their voice and build community.
