Love doing crafts, using the imagination, going on adventures, and dancing around the house. I believe in learning through play so whether the kids know it or not, I always try to sneak in some learning or life skills. When the weather permits, I love to spend time outside whether it's having a picnic, digging for bugs, or just going for a walk. I have a car which I'm willing to use. Aside from playing with the kids, I am happy to pick up and drop off at activities, go grocery shopping, run errands, do laundry, and clean. Very easy going and up to do anything. We interviewed Claire through Care.com and subsequent internet services as she was studying at Washington State University, and we were in her hometown on the East Coast. We were a little nervous, but Claire passed the care.com full background check with flying colors. Claire clearly communicated her availability by day and down to the hour before committing to our job. Claire worked for us for about 12 weeks and was outstanding! She was on time, never missed a day of work. She kept the kids (9 and 12) entertained with activities! And, we were delighted to find out that Claire is a gourmet home cook/baker! Claire was dependable and our children were safe and happy! I highly recommend Claire for nights out, school breaks, or summer nanny! Why did Claire leave our family? 1) My kids were traveling to Europe the rest of the summer 2) Following summer, Claire was returning to University. Why will Claire likely not join our family next summer? We now have a live in Au pair.
