I am a mature, reliable, and organized caregiver with over 20 years of child care experience, including at a daycare center. I have a grad degree & am otherwise self-employed. 

My most recent charge has been a 7-month-old infant having transitioned to day care & prior to that, a 3-year-old boy has transitioned to pre-school. It has indeed been a rewarding experience to be a part of their developmental journey. I am now seeking a position with a new family. 

I am an avid advocate of the Montessori Philosophy and have been a Montessori parent for 12 years. Additionally, I am a non-smoker, invested in health & nutrition as a means to the overall wellbeing of developing children. I do enjoy nurturing infants and fostering their growth & developmental milestones! Love spending time outdoors, weather permitting.

She was a great babysitter! She was very interactive and engaged with my daughter, and my daughter really enjoyed spending time with her. She was also very helpful to me around the house by helping with things like preparing meals and keeping things organized. I really appreciated having someone dependable who not only cared for my daughter but also made things a little easier for me. I would definitely recommend her to other families!


As travel-for-work parents, it is critical for us to fine reliable child care in cities where there may not be flexible childcare resources. In our research on our recent adventure to MN, we found Tej. 

Tej was communicative and open to phone calls, texts and video chats as we interviewed and prepared our little one for our week in MN with Tej as our childcare provider.  Our LO instantly took to Tej. Once we arrived in MN, Tej was on time, responsible and took great of our LO as we attended to work duties. We felt comfortable with her in charge and safe with our 4 year old in her care. Tej requested specific detailed instructions for care as well as helped with PreK work assignments. Would definitely recommend Tej and if ever in MN again, we would use her services every time. 

After some initial conversations by phone/text, we had a meet and greet with my 21 month old toddler where she spent about 50% with him and 50% w/him and me. Went so well, we asked her back to babysit! Very kind, thoughtful, and considerate person while also clearly has years of caregiving knowledge. She knew questions to ask, some of which I had never thought about, which is telling of her years of skills learned. Direct and up front with business/financial discussions which makes for good communication and clear expectations. Thank you Tej!

Tej is kind, empathetic, and approaches childcare from a thoughtful place. We spent a great deal of time discussing my two kids before she first cared for them. She is genuinely interested in knowing who each kid is and meeting them where they're at. Childcare from Tej is not a commodity; she wants to know each child and give them what they need as an individual. She plays games with them, teaches them new concepts, and engages them creatively. 

I would note that I have a dog, and while it took her some time to get used to the dog, she got comfortable with him in time and there were no issues there. 

Highly recommend. 

This nanny was the worst we have encountered. She was so bad she left in the middle of the sit, after I confronted her about not wanting her to watch tv while on the job. She raised her voice at me multiple times and was extremely pushy, defensive, and rude. 
1) 15 minutes late noting there was an accident, I did not see it noted on the highway she was driving on
2) immediately changed the rate from $26 to $30. After extensive discussions, about 20 min she argued and then agreed to her stated rate
3) I asked her firmly not to watch tv with our son, after I came home early and found she was doing that with our son. She said that she did not know anything else she could do with our son. She proceeded to raise her voice at me and I had to ask her to stop yelling in front of my son
4) abruptly left, leaving us in a bind as both of us work
5) said she was comfortable w dogs but is not - my dog has a loud bark but is extremely gentle and a rescue. She asked us to put the dog upstairs.

I would recommend reading the other review as well. When I mentioned it because she said she has only had great experiences she said they had ‘lied’. I have never had such an upsetting experience, and I would absolutely not recommend her.

Tej was an amazing caregiver on short notice! I had made a posting for an all day sitter when our usual nanny was out and she was prompt in all our communications and made me feel very comfortable ahead of our meeting. During the day, she was an all star - our twin 20-month-old toddlers took to her immediately and had a blast! 

Tej really helped us out as we were in a jam at the very last minute. She did great with watching our 2 little kiddos for the first time. She even stayed a few extra hours which was really nice of her.  She also is a great communicator. I would highly recommend her to any family for sure. 

Tej was outstanding, she arrived on time and was wonderful with our girls.  She was very engaged with them and lovely to have in our home!

Tejashree provided care for my non-verbal Down teenage daughter. They have been working on communication and new puzzle games. Tejashree is an active communicator. Provides me with a full report on the daily activities and consistently asks questions to improve care.

Tej was responsive with all of our communication.  She was engaging with our two year old.  We felt comfortable with her watching our two year old for the morning on short notice. 

Tej currently provides after school care for my 8 year old twins (1 diabetic). She is outstanding at managing the kids in a sometimes chaotic environment. Very skilled with the children.

We hired Tej to be our nanny M-F, she agreed to the hours and our needs. She missed an entire day saying she “got booked on care.com” after she made the commitment to us. She let us know at 9:30pm the day before so we had no way of getting coverage. Then she had also agreed to work for another family part-time — again, after she agreed to our hours and days. On top of not being reliable, she also wouldn’t allow us to see or interact with our 5 month old while we worked from home. 

Tej was great!  She got along very well with our three kids, and she and the oldest had a lot of fun cooking together. She has a lot of energy and is very personable. We recommend her!

Teja saved our long-distance family reunion dinner plans at the last minute. We are so grateful. Thank you again! Would definitely recommend

Tej took very good care of our 4 & 7 year old children. She was polite and professional.

Tej does a great job taking care of my 3 young kids. She is reliable and well prepared. She respects the kids’ schedules considering naps and such. She prepares lunch and snacks without a problem. I would recommend her as a babysitter. 

Tej has been an amazing reoccurring caretaker for our 11 month old boy. Right away she asked detailed questions about our son, his routine, and our parenting that inspired confidence in her ability to meet our expectations. She is easy going and accommodating of our variable schedule. As first time parents, she is exactly the caretaker we needed to enjoy our limited time away from our son. I am very happy we found her on care.com.

Tej is a wonderful, kind, and delightful caregiver. She delivers excellent care and my family really appreciates her. I highly recommend Tej as a caregiver.
